Like many initial charitable endeavors, Twisted was born from personal experience and in some respect, frustration. After witnessing first-hand the lack of post-high school employment opportunities for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities we decided to try and make a difference. Our goal is to create an opportunity that could lead to a future career in the food service or hospitality industries. Given our ties to the Wharf community, the location seemed to be a perfect match.
