UNLOCK
Pick up a bike at one of hundreds of stations around the metro DC area. See bike availability on the System Map or mobile app.

RIDE
Take as many short rides as you want while your pass is active. Memberships include unlimited classic bike trips under 45 minutes.

RETURN
End a ride by returning your bike to any station. Push your bike firmly into an empty dock and wait for the green light to make sure it's locked.

The Wharf Jitney does not operate during the winter months.

A jitney ride across the Channel takes less than five minutes. To get picked up, stand on Wharf Recreation Pier or East Potomac Dock.

The Wharf Jitney is a free boat service operated by The Wharf that ferries passengers between Recreation Pier and East Potomac Park. 
East Potomac Park, a 400-acre US National Park featuring three golf courses, a driving range, the nation's oldest putt-putt course, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, as well as bike paths and picnic tables.

In accordance with Coast Guard regulations, the Wharf Jitney has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers, including children and babies.

Hop on Our Free Neighborhood Shuttle
The Wharf offers a SW Neighborhood Shuttle that is free and open to the public. With daily service and short headways, it’s easy and convenient to take the shuttle between The Wharf and SW Duck Pond, L’Enfant Plaza Metro, the National Mall, and additional parking at L'Enfant Plaza. The shuttle is wheelchair accessible. Like on Metro, pets may be transported on the Shuttle, provided they are carried in a secure container from which they cannot escape.
