The Hammond-Harwood House, a National Historic Landmark, was built in 1774. It was the final work of architect William Buckland. With its carved doorway entrance, formal rooms, and elegant scale, the building blends the artistry of the finest Anglo-Palladian architecture with American sensibility.

The house is open to the public for tours. Subjects include the social history of the families and enslaved people who lived in the house, architecture, and the collection of fine and decorative art. Numerous special tours, lectures, talks, concerts, and family programs are scheduled throughout the year.

Located in Preble Hall on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy, the Museum offers two floors of exhibits about the history of seapower, the development of the U.S. Navy, and the role of the U.S. Naval Academy in producing officers capable of leading America's sailors and marines.

Our displays combine historical artifacts with video and audio technology to bring to life the stories of the men and women who have served their country at sea.

Annapolis Maritime Museum - Park Campus

Open to the public every day from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Old Treasury Building on State Circle was built in 1735-36 as a treasury for the Commissioners for Emitting Bills of Credit. It is the oldest public building in Annapolis.

As part of the master plan for the visitor experience, the Old Treasury Building will be open to the public with interpretive exhibits relating to the history of the building and 17th century Maryland history. These exhibits will create an historic link with Historic St. Mary's City, the capital of the colony until it was moved to Annapolis in 1695.

The National Cryptologic Museum is NSA’s gateway to the public and educates visitors about the role of cryptology in shaping history. The NCM collects, preserves, and showcases unique cryptologic artifacts and shares the stories of the people, technology, and methods that have defined cryptologic history.
